Renee began her ceramics journey seven years ago as an exploration, not knowing when she first held clay how deep her love for the art would quickly grow. Since then she has been blessed with the opportunity to study under amazing artists including Cathi Jefferson, Linda Helms, Laura Gosnell and Patti McNeice. She enjoys exploring a variety of atmospheric firing techniques including raku, obvara, gas, wood and pit firing. She discovered a love for both sculptural decorative pieces as well as and functional ware. 

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, many of her forms, textures and colours are reflective of the wild beauty of the west coast.
